Steven Branfman

Just recently blew the dust off of this book that I picked up this book a few years ago. Did you ever think such a book existed? "The Potter's Professional Handbook" by Steven Branfman.  He shares some great info and personal experience. And I love that his first 45 pages are dedicated to the "Why?" question.

"When an art or craft career is chosen, the decision more often grows out of an emotional connection and passion for the particular craft than through logically weighing the pros and cons of a certain profession"..."The desire, need, and determination to do art and crafts is usually a deep-rooted one. It is a feeling that is often innate and basic to your individuality" (29, 41).
